Inspo for the creation of matmakers
All of my hand-beaded placemats were inspired by my recent safari in Kenya in November 2024. Many of the African beads are from a bustling market in Nairobi I visited while there.
As I sewed and stitched the first beads onto the placemats, I took the slow and deliberate time to imprint my memories of the wonder and beauty of my time in Kenya. Creating them was my gift to myself. I'm honored to share the gift of their creation with you!
